This is the original MiniBox for those who prefer a non-digital technology that is similar to the original methods used by the first ITC pioneers!

Due to continued requests for a simple and reliable MiniBox with no digital circuitry, I have resumed production of this very popular and dependable device. This was the first publicly available way to get into ITC and real-time spirit communications with a system specifically designed for the purpose. 

 This was a big attraction at the Stanley Hotel... And also at the Queen Mary on Dec. 2nd through the 5th, 2007.

You've also seen it in action on the TV show 'Most Haunted at Gettyburg'!

Frank Sumption, the designer of the Ghost Box, sometimes known as 'Frank's Box', has done much pioneering work in the use of applying technology to capturing EVP messages. His method, which has been published in many places across the web, consists of using an AM radio circuit with an automated scanning system, which continually tunes the radio back and forth. Frank's theory is that the sound energy is captured and used by spirits to form words and phrases. The results have been astounding in some cases, but it takes time and patience to learn to use his device skillfully.

Frank Sumption does not sell his boxes to anyone. When he is moved to do so, he will construct a box and give it to a person, but he will not build them for public sale. I believe this device should be made available to anyone who desires one. This could be the next step in spirit communication, but without many persons using these devices, keeping notes and recordings, we will never know.

 I listened to the 25 second sound clip, and it sounds comparable to mine, not as much noise though. It is tuning across radio, and is using radio stations as the raw audio source. The first word is 'sphinx' from the clip. I have had that image on my shower window all week(Sphinx or Hotep)! The next phrase is 'Doris doesn't like your boobs' (really, I don't have em') . I'd say the thing works, and it sounds good. If I had the money I would buy one. As far as for what I heard, it's been my expereince that it changes for the listener, so no doubt someone else will hear something entirely different. The point is, meaningful messages are formed out the raw audio, as this technology is intended to function. I would expect it to do like my version, work different for every user.

We arranged for Frank to have a private session with the MiniBox at the Stanley Hotel - here's what he had to say...

 With The Mini Box available, I feel less compelled to try to put mine into production, so don't have to feel forced to spend every waking minute building stuff. I don't care who makes the things, it's great to have the technology available to anyone that can afford it. The stress has been lifted--THANK YOU Ron!

I have only two boxes at the moment, one is not meant for travel, as I have it set up with a seperate power supply, and sound chamber for testing... There is the box made by paranormalsystems.com, it works, and there is a sound sample on the site. I saw the Mini Box at the Stanley and was impressed.

I was at The Stanley Hotel in Colorado last weekend, and was excited to get to work with the new Mini-Box. I was also happy to meet Frank for the first time!

I had several sessions with the Mini-Box with April and Allen Slaughter of the Association for the Study of Unexplained Phenomena, and found it quite impressive. Very compact, long battery life (and rechargeable) and good clarity. "Seven" came through for me in every session. We had a session with Mark Macy, and a short one with Frank -- wish it could have been longer. I'm getting one of the first of these boxes, and it will be a valuable addition to the two Frank's Boxes that I'm working with.
